Something Else Consulting provides professional analytical services and advice on a range of issues. Though taking a tailored approach to each task, SEC maintains a consistent values-based framework:

• Excellence – I strive for professionalism, accuracy, and sustainability in my work. I seek the learning opportunities within my tasks so that I can carry the teachings forward and build up better. 

• Integrity – honesty and acting ethically are hallmarks of my approach to my work. I honour my commitments, and if not, I am honest about it and I try to find workable resolutions to keep the work moving forward in a good way.

• Humility – though I can add value to the work, I acknowledge there are limits to what I know, and my experiences are not the same as those I work with. In understanding that, I work to ensure that I open my eyes, my ears, and my heart to all perspectives.

• Flexibility – while I can always work toward the best outcomes, it is always wise to plan for the worst outcomes, and flexibility is a key mantra for dealing with the unexpected. Being flexible also provides me a great deal of space to be creative and adaptable in my work and in problem-solving.
